ICYMI: THE NFL PLAYERS CHOIR DELIVERS POWERFUL NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMANCE ON SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

 The NFL Players Choir delivered an emotional, high-impact rendition of the National Anthem during the Kansas City Chiefs’ annual Legends Game, honoring former linebacker Derrick Johnson and his induction into the Chiefs Ring of Honor. Following the Chiefs’ entrance through billowing smoke, the choir took center stage ahead of the Chiefs–Colts Sunday Night Football matchup.

Dressed in customized Chiefs jerseys, the choir gathered at midfield alongside a full color guard. As the Players Choir brought the anthem to a powerful close, fireworks illuminated the stadium and a fighter-jet flyover thundered across the sky. The unforgettable, over-the-top performance was captured by NBC’s Sunday Night Football cameras and matched by the roar of a packed crowd inside Arrowhead Stadium, famously known as “the loudest stadium in the world.”

The NFL player alumni also enjoyed a memorable game-day moment with NBC analyst Chris Collinsworth, celebrating an extraordinary night of football, music and NFL fellowship.

Since its inception in 2008, the Players Choir has become synonymous with moving performances during the biggest weekend in sports, the annual Super Bowl Weekend. Super Bowl Soulful Celebration Founder and Executive Producer Melanie Few said the group is already preparing to return to Los Angeles in February 2027 with a slate of new performances for Super Bowl LXI.
